  1. Hey Leila! So I just read your week 8 post, and I want to say that I initially struggled with a similar problem when I first went vegan. I don’t know how open you are to taking supplements, but one that has helped me a ton is omega-3. Flax seeds, chia seeds, hemp seeds and especially seaweed are excellent sources of omega-3. When I was younger I had a hard time dealing with all the eczema that would get on my hands, arms, legs, and knees so I took a fish oil supplement to help clear it up and it worked wonders. When the eczema started to resurface a few years ago, I obviously couldn’t return to fish oil so I went for an algae alternative. I like it even better to be honest! Also, as for topical ointments, I had a lot of problems with blemishes growing up, but the best soap I’ve found is this African Black Soap — it’s very gentle on the skin and does an amazing job clearing up trouble spots. You can find it at Target or your local health food store. Best of luck on your vegan journey!! 🙂
